This letterbox is located in the Sugar River Forest Preserve (not to be confused with the Sugar River Alder Forest Preserve, which is further to the north.) The place you'll want to be is nine miles west of Rockton, Illinois. Take Rockton Road to Forest Preserve Road. The Sugar River Forest Preserve is at the dead-end of Forest Preserve Road.

To decipher the clues, you must solve a series of anagram addition problems and then transfer the letters from your answers into the corresponding squares of this diagram. Some letters in the diagram are used in more than one answer, so you would be wise to work back and forth from the diagram to the answers.
